About Scientia International

Global science in open access

Scientia International is a scientific and technological startup dedicated to the democratization, internationalization, and valorization of academic production. Our mission is to foster ethical, accessible, and multilingual science by breaking down linguistic, economic, and structural barriers that still hinder access to scientific knowledge.

Scientia International Press: Open and Multilingual Scientific Publishing

Scientia International Press is the official publishing division of Scientia International, responsible for publishing bilingual digital e-books and a network of trilingual scientific journals, all in open access. Our editorial services include:

  • Submission of chapters, organized collections, or complete works

  • Peer review (closed for books, open for journals)

  • Automated translation with optional human revision

  • Metadata in six languages: Portuguese, Spanish, English, French, German, and Mandarin

  • Individual DOI for each chapter or article

  • Creative Commons licensing (CC BY-NC 4.0 for books; CC BY 4.0 for journals)

  • Fully digital, free publication with global visibility and long-term preservation

Transparency and Linguistic Diversity

In our journals, we implement an open peer review model, where authors and reviewers are identified, and peer reports are published alongside the final article. This promotes transparency, academic dialogue, and scientific integrity.

We accept articles in any language, which are translated and published in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, with metadata always made available in six languages.

Our e-books are published in two languages: the author's original language and a mandatory translation into either Portuguese, Spanish, or English. As with journals, metadata is provided in six languages to maximize global discoverability.
